Pour S'more Apple Pie
As summer changes to fall, the heat fading from the evening air, plants slowing their growth, and leaves changing from green to gold, we look to experiences of comfort and nostalgia. Here’s a handful tried & true favorites that create a perfect autumn pairing—Apple Pie, a good bonfire (with s’mores, of course!), a stack of blankets, and a few people to gather round with.
No matter your s’mores strategy or recipe, (patiently roasting marshmallows to a perfect golden hue, instantly torching for a slightly charred (but equally delicious) ooey-gooey mess, light chocolate, peanut butter cups, a sprinkle of sea salt) Oliver Winery Apple Pie wine is a fitting refreshment for the nostalgic treat of summer & fall.
There's a long list of things that could classify as quintessentially fall, but we'd wager caramel apples fall pretty high on that list. This caramel apple twist is a nice way to add a refreshing, balanced sweetness to the classic fireside treat.
Caramel Apple S'more
- 2 graham cracker squares
- 1 apple slice (seeds & core removed)
- 1 marshmallow
- Caramel sauce
- Sea salt
Roast marshmallow to preference and build your s'more as follows. Start with a graham cracker, then apple slice, your roasted marshmallow, then a drizzle of caramel, and sprinkle of sea salt. Top with the second graham cracker & enjoy!
Pumpkin, cinnamon, and s'mores, oh my! This autumn snack balances out the sweetness of an original s'more, with warm, spiced flavor. A soon-to-be-favorite for chilly, fireside nights.
Touch of Fall S'more

- 3 Lily's Sea Salt Dark Chocolate
- 1 tsp pumpkin
- Ground cinnamon
Roast marshmallow to preference and build your s'more as follows. Start with your base graham cracker, then add a small dollop of pumpkin, topped with dark chocolate, your roasted marshmallow, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Top with graham cracker & enjoy!
The sweetest of our three s'mores, the Orchard Harvest s'more uses apple butter & white chocolate to bring classic fall flavors to life.
