A Behind the Scenes Experience

Tours are available April through October.

Learn what it takes to go from vine to wine with a full production tour and tasting experience at one the country’s largest wineries. We’ll show you around our beautiful campus and take a behind the scenes look at our state-of-the-art winemaking facilities. On this walking tour, learn how we make our award-winning wines and see the equipment that makes it possible. We’ll share our unique history within Indiana winemaking, and of course, share some wine along the way.

Please note: Due to health code regulations no pets or service animals are not allowed on this experience, as they occur in live production areas.

The Experience

Here's what you can expect:

• $35 per person plus tax
• $15 for minors or designated drivers
• 1-hour walking tour followed by a 30 min. guided tasting in our Original Tasting Room
• A welcome cocktail for each guest

Book in advance

This experience is only available Fridays-Sundays. Book in advance to ensure your spot! We release a few weeks of dates at a time. If you don't see your date available, please check back later. Visit between April through October to enjoy this experience!

A personal experience:

Each tour can accommodate 12 people, and we can accept group sizes between one and 6 guests. Please contact our events teams for larger group experiences!

We wine together, rain or shine!

This tour experience will go rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Inclement weather may alter the experience for the safety and comfort of our guests. The tour also requires closed toe, slip resistant footwear when possible.

We’ll guide your tastebuds

Along the way, we’ll taste several wines that are important to Oliver’s history in Indiana winemaking. Following the approximately 1 hour tour, we’ll gather together in our Original Tasting Room for a 30 min. private tasting of wines you may choose from our curated wine list. Our experienced staff will help guide you to some new favorites for any taste!

ADDITIONAL PERKS

After your tasting is finished grab a glass or bottle from our Original Tasting Room bar and enjoy the space, including the outdoor patio seating. This space is only open to tour guests on the weekends, so there’s no fighting the crowds for a table to extend your stay a little longer. You may also consider enjoying our hillside or booking a picnic experience before or after your tour and tasting.

Keepsake stemware

As a keepsake, each guest will receive a complimentary stemmed logo wine glass to take home.

Seasonal featured surprises!

When possible and available, you may also enjoy new release wines, wine cocktails, seasonal pairing experiences, or extra stops during our busier production times. These may be announced ahead of time and booked separately on our booking page, or may be added as a special addition to the usual tour!

This tour includes entering live production facilities. Please wear closed toe, slip resistant shoes. Follow the instructions of your tour guides at all times for your own safety.

Details and Policies

  • To enjoy wine, you must have valid ID upon arrival.

  • This experience will happen rain or shine, so please plan ahead. This experience involves a long period of time on your feet, walking our expansive grounds an production facility.

  • This tour includes entering live production facilities, please wear closed toe, slip resistant shoes and follow the instructions of your tour guides at all times for your own safety.

  • Reservations are required. We expect tours to sell out, so please plan ahead. At this time, there are not weekday tours available of our facilities

  • Maximum 12 people per tour, 6 person group maximum, capacity allowing. We cannot combine reservations or add guests to your tour on the day of your reservation.

  • Tours leave promptly at their scheduled time, please arrive early and plan ahead for travel.

  • If you have minors or designated drivers in your party, you will have the option of reducing the cost of those tickets during the checkout process as a rebate add-on. Please note that the maximum group count of 6 includes those guests not enjoying wine.

  • All of our various reserved experiences must be booked separately and must follow respective capacity and party size limits. If you plan to stay onsite following your tasting, we recommend that you check in with a host for table availability and options.

  • Cancellations and modifications must be made 24 hours before your experience begins. If you do not attend the event or cancel later than our policy allows, you remain responsible for the fees associated. You may modify reservations either through the link in your confirmation email, or by calling the tasting room.

  • If you were unable to book this experience, we now have a waitlist option. Sign up online, and you will be notified via email if a timeslot becomes available for you and your group.

  • Pets and service animals are not permitted inside the tasting room or production facilities due to health code regulations. If you are participating in this experience, please leave your furry friends at home, as it occurs in live production areas.
