So it’s almost January….

Dry January is rolling around once again, and while we fully support all who participate, we also have a handful of thoughts for those who might rather make it a ~damp~ January. Good luck to you as you work toward this new year goal, we will be waiting on the shelf if you’re looking for a celebratory toast when February rolls around.

Make it a Damp January

Lucky for you, we have a lot of options for cutting down on alcohol consumption. For starters, our Real Fruit Moscato™ collection is low-ABV, coming in at 6.8%. These refreshingly real sippers have a hint of bubble and are a great addition to any day.

Enjoy a wine spritz to achieve a lower-ABV. Try one of our Real Fruit Moscatos™, Dreamberry, or Cosmoberry over ice, with an effervescence of choice. Add a squeeze of citrus, splash of juice, or a fun straw to elevate the experience.

Decide on certain days that you’re allowed to treat yourself to a drink. Pretty simple, but a great way to stay on track (so long as you stick to it). Keep it fun and experiment with mocktail recipes for off-days, and treat yourself on your selected day(s). Whether you prefer an after-work drink or to sip back & relax on the weekends, you can choose an option that fits your lifestyle best.

Creative Alternatives (that still support healthy habits!)

Try combining a damp January effort with a simple, overall lifestyle or wellness goal...find a few ideas below!

  • Add a short and sweet fitness regimen to your day. Squeeze some stretches in every morning before work, or fit a little cardio into your evening routine.

  • Stock up on produce! Throw some berries in with lunch, or roast an extra veggie with your dinner. Believe us, we know the value of real fruit.

  • Establish a morning or bedtime routine. Read a book instead of endlessly scrolling, or go for an early walk instead of hitting snooze (easier said than done, we know).

  • Meal plan at the start of each week, for the whole week. Make one grocery list and get it all in one trip.

  • Promote a positive mindset for 2025. Give a daily compliment or positive affirmation (yourself included!). Or, write down something you’re grateful for each day and compile it somewhere that you can see your growing list.

  • Spend quality time with family and friends. Brainstorm date night ideas and—get this—actually plan a few. Host a family game night. Take a weekend trip or a staycation. Meet a friend for a treat yourself day. Try a new recipe. Have a cozy, comfy movie marathon.

Anyway, you get the picture. There are* a lot* of ways to enhance your year (and your life). Tailor your resolutions to YOU. There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’. Here’s to you, and 2025. We’ll be here to celebrate with you when you’re ready.
