Creekbend III by Oliver Winery
Creekbend III 2023
This blend of Vignoles and Vidal Blanc showcases our growing & winemaking abilities and innovation. The Vignoles portion of this wine is fermented in oak barrels and aged on the lees for several months, while Vidal Blanc is fermented in stainless steel, creating a blend with a bright, tropical nose and buttery, supple finish. This wine is the perfect adds a touch of class to summer evenings. Perfect for a patio dinner or an evening under the stars.
Creekbend Chambourcin Rosé Cocktail from Oliver Winery
Chambourcin Rosé 2022
Juicy, fresh, and dry, this rosé style wine is a product of free run juice from our Chambourcin grapes (aka juice that requires no extra pressure to the grapes) and makes a luscious addition to your summer wine collection. Chambourcin is a very versatile varietal, and is also used in our dry red Chambourcin wine. We recommend sipping it chilled, for a jammy summer treat. Add to a light summer lunch (think salads or charcuterie) and late afternoons swaying in a hammock in the shade.

Oliver Winery Shiraz
Shiraz 2022
The words we think of when we think of Shiraz? Lush. Approachable. Smooth. The thoughtful winemaking behind Shiraz gives us a dry red bursting with fresh fruit flavor, soft, smooth tannins, and a long, pleasing finish. Warm fermentation is key to bringing out the character of the varietal. Serve at room temperature for a wine to savor on laid back evenings at the grill, around the fire, or under the stars.
Oliver Winery Sauvignon Blanc 2023
Sauvignon Blanc 2023
Quintessentially summer. Crafted with fruit from the San Bernabe Vineyard of Monterey, CA, our Sauvignon Blanc holds the classic flavors & aromas of citrus, melon, and gooseberry. These grapes lose acidity and aromatics in excessive heat, which makes the Monterey region ideal for their growing. We ferment entirely cool in stainless steel to highlight its fresh, crisp notes. Makes the perfect mid-afternoon treat for sunny deck days and pairs well with a relaxed read or a seafood dinner.
Oliver Winery Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
One of the classics. We create an approachable Cab with fruit sourced from Lodi & Paso Robles, California. Gentle handling & barrel aging are key elements in maintaining fruit-forward flavor, and bold yet soft tannins. While this wine will age beautifully for another 10-12 years, it is delicious now with aromas of cinnamon on the nose and flavors of currant and vanilla on the finish. Serve with bold flavors, such as red meats, or stuffed portabellas.
Creekbend Blanc de Rouge 2023 by Oliver Winery
Blanc de Rouge 2023
Blanc de Rouge is small-batch sparkling wine handmade in the traditional Méthode Champenoise. The wine’s name – translating to “white from red” — pays tribute to the wine’s style. If you’ve been a club member for many years, you know that our Creekbend Catawba is a beautiful blush, semi-sweet wine. The crisp, dry palate of this new release will be a pleasant surprise! Catawba is Creekbend Vineyard’s largest planting because of its winter-hardy and disease-resistant characteristics. For this wine, we harvested early, with lower residual sugar, to ensure high acidity and the citrus palate common in Champagne wines. Light floral aromas and notes of lemon candy and green apple lead to a vibrant finish with notes of fresh bread and lemon. Sip on a relaxing afternoon off, or pair with dinner for two. Serve with salmon, charcuterie, salad, ravioli or oysters.

Farewell Creekbend: A Letter from Bill

The Creekbend Vineyard era has come to an end. For over 30 years, it played a vital role in Oliver history, teaching us invaluable lessons about grape growing in the eastern United States. While some varieties didn’t thrive as expected, others flourished, producing exceptional wines. I will always cherish the memories—the challenges and the successes.
